 The local residents prefer to use the beach at ‘William’s Town’, which is South of Freeport. Other beautiful beaches can be found along the south shore including ‘Churchill Beach’, ‘Fortune Beach’ and ‘Barbary Beach’. You will find a mile of white sand on ‘Xanadu Beach’ and water sports and family fun on ‘Taino Beach’. The beaches are excellent on Grand Bahama and if you want quiet, you will find 60 miles of magnificent beaches stretching from Freeport to the isolated east end of the island.
