Several courses are available on Grand Bahama currently and the island hosts three annual golf tournaments. In December, the Lucaya Golf and Country Club hosts the ‘Waterford Crystal Pro-Am Golf Tournament’. This annual event draws a notable list of professionals and amateurs.

In January it is the turn of the ‘Resorts of Bahamia Crystal Pro-Am Golf Tournament’ offering both amateurs and professionals the opportunity to play together in teams. Finally in November, Grand Bahama hosts a month long ‘European Invitational Golf Week’. Golf Courses often have the benefit of sea views and the gentle breeze can be a welcome interruption to the players.
